2009 ARRA and COBRA Helped all clients get up to speed and prepare for new responsibilities whether they self administer or use a third party administrator; developed talking points for beneficiary questions
2009 Client's benefits personnel were sending out-of-date and/or inconsistent letters Letter templates for all routine disability and enrollment communications were revised for consistancy and compliance 
2009 New Special Enrollment Rights Updated New Hire Kits and intranet sites with new CHIP RA language;  
2009 Client's New Hire package needed updated Performed complete overhaul of all enrollment and plan communications materials, including cover letters
2009 Client subject to NJ Leave Law Researched details of new law, prepared overview and action plan for Benefits and Payroll Dept. 
2009 Imputed Income Issue Researched and advised client that imputed income rules apply to voluntary life due to straddling of rates
2009 Client changed benefit eligibilty rules Developed a master list of all documents that needed to be changed; identified all possible document locations; also helped develop revised vacation and holiday policies related to the change
2008 Consulting firm needed help with self funded medical renewal Analyzed and compared stop loss quotes, updated claim history reports, developed presentation to client
2008 Client wants to create a Wellness program for 2009  Ongoing research and advice regarding vendors, health risk assessments, interventions and incentives, and compliance advice. 
2008 Client is rolling out a new adoption assistance program Provided research, sample policies, created several drafts of the final policy as well as announcment content.
2008 Clients wanted to know if an HSA program made sense for them Analyzed current employee contribution structure, claims experience and plan design and made recommendations, along with advice regarding interim steps to take.  Provided detailed description of the implementation process and compliance issues.  
2008 through 2009 Client wanted to create written procedures for all Benefit Dept. functions Worked with client's staff to establish a format for creating and organizing procedure documentation, created a master working list of procedures to be documented.  In process of writing and reviewing.  
2008 Client had three SPDs and a Plan Document to proof for 2008 All docs were proofed; successfully challenged erroneous carrier boilerplate language, re-proofed, released for distribution.
2008 Client's benefit site needed to be updated with 2008 benefit changes and forms We continue to manage all content for this client's benefit site.  New content is added regularly.
